School Conduct

Class Attire & School Ettiquette

Here at HPPA we aim to create a positive and safe environment for students, parents/guardians and teachers. We strive for everyone to have fun and feel supported. We do our absolute best to ensure safe teaching, correct technique and support our students and guardians with the information they need to make informed decisions. All students, guardians and teachers should support and encourage others in a positive way. All new and important information will be posted on our private facebook group (Please message our page if you need adding into this group). Our website and social media will be updated with new timetables and any other public information on a regular basis.

Any questions, queries or concerns must be sent through our business direct messenger or email, where one of our team will reply during their working hours. We do not permit messages to be directed to personal social media accounts and these messages will be redirected and responded to through our business messenger. We expect all members, students, staff and guardians to be treated with respect and consideration at all times. HPPA does not tolerate rude, offensive or aggressive remarks and behavior in any way either in person or through message.

What to Wear:

Please wear tight fitting moveable clothing, covering the lower back and behind the knees- leggings and a tight fitted top/leotard are a good option. Aerial skills can be quite sore on bare skin. We also recommend packing a pair of leg warmers for extra padding just in case! Please do not wear any clothing that has thick zips or hoods, and please remove or cover any jewellery before class. Please also tie your hair back and out of the way, long hair ideally in a bun so that it doesn't get caught.

What to Bring:

Please bring a water bottle, an extra pair of leg warmers or extra layers for arms/ legs for aerial classes.

What to Expect:

If you have never been to one of our classes before- WELCOME!! We are excited to meet you! Our classes aim to create a positive learning environment that above all builds confidence. Before entering, our teachers will make themselves known to you along with any other helpers, so you can be aware of who is there for anything you may require. Whilst taking part in our aerial classes, your hands may become sore as your hands adapt to using the equipment. This is completely normal and to be expected when first learning.
